HOLO - Highest Open / Lowest Open Trade

Posted the H4 lead-in to this over on Daily Forex Trading and I let the 1-2-3 go but took the HOLO.

This was the lead-in...

The HOLO entry - the move I took was the move back down in the centre of the chart. Leaving it longer gave me the backing of the Supply Zones...

Nice trade off M5...what draws those supply and demand zones an ea or are you putting them in by hand?

It's a combination overlay of a couple of indicators. I used an outliner to show the zones a little easier for this post. I usually like them to sit back in the mix a bit more.

I always tell people to only start using indis for S+D once they are confident in their ability to draw them themselves. That way you understand what the zones are actually telling you and can make an informed decision as to which are the best to use (not all S+D indis are created equal!) and the strength of the information they are giving at any given time.

I use an II set-up and just Glooble ''Best Supply and Demand indicator for mt4''. Try a couple and see what fits. You'll feel better having made the journey and done the research yourself.

ok thanks i will check that out i normally just draw in H4 z lines but I like the shaded areas so when im scanning it sticks out.

My DAX morning move played out as a strong 1-2-3 as well. Added weight from the Demand Zone, just the way we like it.

Where did you exit on this, 12975.8? Are 1-2-3 on DAX & SP500 'aok' to take as they come our way or are there certain times in the day better than others. Thanks Lem.

I am now playing the line-in-the-sand as a bounce-rebound scalp-fest.

It's always better to look for times where price is more likely to move. The indices will get very quiet outside of these times (great for scalping though and also HOLO actually if you are coming off a 1-2-3).

So, day's open (uk) and you will get a swivel move around the US Open also (not surprisingly).

The great thing with the indices, is that you will get ''standard'' 1-2-3 moves for the kind of moves I got there but at least once a week you will get a barn-burner which will cross the whole day.

been busy last couple days havent had much time to look at charts, really need maybe a longer term strategy for times I can only be at the computer for short period, sure my wife would like this LOL.

Got this HOLO trade UJ long, UJ seems to make a 1 pip low then reverse.
