Approaching 23% Fib retrace.

That was a nice scalp :D

The good old 38% fib retrace.

TRO_SR_RR has number of bars looked (21) at and offset (1) as inputs. Default is 21 bars starting with Bar(1). Bar(0) is the current bar. The indicator then plots the support and resistance based on highest high and lowest low for the period. And then TRO_SR_RR computes the fibs off that.

The triggers are simply the pivot of the candle that made the highest high or lowest low, whichever is most recent. Risk, Reward is then calculated.

This TRO SR RR has been great.

Last week was the first time I used it. I only traded tuesday thru Friday because of Labor Day.

I made 228 pips, if you do not count one loss where I traded against the rules. Basically do not trade during news releases....arrgh...

So, 228 pips with an average of 9 trades/day.

It is so simple!! So far, I love it.

It works when the pairs are ranging, or when they are trending.

Now this has only been the first week. So time should tell.

This week is looking promising as well. I will try to post daily results for a while, so everyone can see if it is working or not for someone. But this seems to be an awesome indicator that works.

cya,

BP

Hi Tro,
Is this the right place? Is this TS version of this indicator? DO you use the 1hr candle to trade direction for this too? Is this a upgrade of TRO_DYNAMIC_FIBSR?

Question if I can ask here, why does the buyzone lines disappear during regular hrs? One more, am checkign out MT, how do I upload your indicators?

Thank you,
Mo

Hi TRO!

Hope you been great since we meet on TSD.

I LOVE your indic and wished to know if you consider the short trigger, when your are in a long from the long signal, as a resistance?!?

Also how would you trade when price range in between short and long trigger, would you take a long a short trigger, and vice versa?

And... lol, what would you do if price close under S or R and continue, woudl you start a trade from there?!

Thx for your work and any comments will be appreciated!

Yes, this is the "right" place.

Not sure what you're asking. Some of the TS indicators work differently than the MT4 versions.

Not sure what buy zone you are using... perhaps you don't have the latest version.

Do you mean download my indicators? Please do NOT upload them.

NO, I don't consider the short trigger as a resistance. Resistance IS resistance.

If price is between the triggers, then I just wait. No need to force a trade when I can wait for price to come to me.

If price breaks out of support/resistance, then I wait if I am not in a trade.

Hi TRO,

Sorry, using this indicator TRO_SR_RR, do you use thr 1 hr candle for direction right? I think am not fast enought to take a small profit... think of a home run :(

In my TS the buy zone indicator lines disappear when the market opens, wondering why?

Am trying out the free version of MT, I don't know how to upload your indicators that you send out onto the chart? or anyone else can help me out?

Thanks,
Mo

Hi MO,

Yes, wisdom from TRO's book: The thumb rule is never to trade against the H1 candle colour. TRO_SR_RR indicator shows the bias of H1 and D1.

To upload indicators to MT4:
-- Close MT4, if open
-- Extract all indicators to Program Files/MetaTrader4/experts/indicators folder.
-- Open MT4, in the navigator window / custom indicators panel, you will find all these indicators. Just drag and drop the required indicator on to the chart.

Hope that helps.

cheerz,
-- ricky
