Brilliant gap on The DAX this morning. So easy to trade.

I meant to say earlier, as re the F40. As well as shadowing the DAX, it should be noted that often the spreads will be less than those of The Monster.

I love analysis, I really do.

However just seeing that it's a Daily Wick Zone set-up (and a RAT entry if you want to get subtle about it) is all you need.

Could even have had a second bite on the way down if you'd missed the first long move.

The 500 ran DWZ all day long as ins-and-outs. I didn't take anything until late in the day, as I watched for the 18-Flips-17 move. This has now reverted back to these candles after the UK and US clock-changes have sorted themselves out. Pain in the proverbial but never mind, all good now.

As I said, I took the 'Flip' as marked and because I have nothing else running and no life, I watched it to see if I was going to get any dip back down into the lower WZ. Two candles later, I did. Entered long on the bounce back out.

Revisited the old life by sitting up all night nursing The Yen, lol. It was just too good a set-up to let it go begging and it has paid off nicely.

Short DWZ cw Supply Zone...

Lots of lines on that chart.

At least none of them are SQUIGGLYS!!

Not all squiggly are created equal:

A line chart greatly simplifies the picture but its jaggedness can be just as distracting as the candle chart itself so we smooth it out with a 2 SMA.

Price acts differently around the AO and MACD zero lines because so many people are watching these indicators: you can see for yourself price turning around, bouncing off of, and even sometimes following it like it is a guiding rope.

The AO ZL, the 34 SMA, is changed to the 40 SMA to time the 2SMA cross with the slower MA cross of the AO; on larger charts we consider the candle close to be a cross so there is no 2 SMA on those charts.

I agree that it is stupid to put 5 squiggly on your chart.

Line chart trading rules are simple:
1. go long at a low pivot
2. if there is a bounce off of the ZL then go long at a high pivot
