First toe-dip into an old pool came good. There's a thing about the 500 that runs off the 18:00 bar (current clock variations in the UK). It's an oldie but a goodie and is a similar concept to the GBP ''Fix'' at the end of the UK session.
Look for the 18:00 bar. It
always moves, the majority of the time to reverse the direction of the 17:00.
However, if it
does fail, then it will break the
other way, often in a
big way.
Today, I had a light workload, with my DAX move in the am, then a trip to see my mum, before a hit on the UC when I got back at the end of the day. Off that same check, I looked at the 500 here and sure enough, it was all set up, backed by a double-tap drop out of the Supply Zone...
