I Googled around and couldn't find this concept as a bar pattern, does anyone know if it's unofficially called something? I think it's just a variation of the hikkake pattern.

Take an inside bar pattern that fails to break out. The "mother" bar that contains all subsequent candles. Subsequent candles exceed the mother bar's candle high and low *but* do not close outside of it. I wrote up some quick logic to give me the heads up when such patterns show up. I've seen failed IB breaks that seem to be stop hunts. After some more consolidation, the price breaks away, this is what I was looking for, for smaller players to get flushed out before a bigger move begins.

Open to thoughts/ideas if there's another way to scan for this...

I added additional logic:
if higher time frame Elder Impulse is green and current time frame has a zero line cross on the 2 period Force Index, then show 'BUY',
this follows Elder's Triple Screen (okay double screen plus a TRO turn trade as the third filter)

i'm using TRO2014 FreqDist lowerwick indicator
I would like to backtest specific candle ex :
on the 1H chart I would like to have the result only for the 1H candle that start at 09:00 everyday but only the 09:00 candle for the last 1000 trading days .

Can this indicator do it , if yes could you please explain which settings I should use
I really need to backtest specific candles on specific timeframes
