Thanks Pjort,

there are many ways to find price levels, with time they become clear and easy to spot.
The idea is the same -> MO's "sell where ppl sell, buy where ppl buy" -> Volume Spikes etc.

But in the previous post i was referring at some "volume hint" about how many SL were triggered at a given price (when i'm deciding to enter the trade or not), do you know if footprint charts can help us in this way?

My brother uses footprint charts - it's been a while for me. I'll ask him what the latest chatter is around them.

Thanks LeM! :D

crazy how small stoporders move prize at 3.10 min...

Hi Pjort!

I’m really interested in trading volume clusters.
It’s what I was staring on before i found Kreslik.com :D

Combining price levels with volumes could be the bomb!
The problem is that I don’t know much about it..

Is there a way to try a demo? Are volume datas expensive?
And how do I trade them?

Thank you!

Hi Mira ,

Happy new year to you, and I really would like to point you in the right direction, though remember I ended up here to learn mostly about PA after spend a heck of a time trying to understand CME marketprofile volumetick tapereading etc etc ....

After read the book "Remeniance of a Stockoperater" tapereading was GOD for mee... If you dont know the book you have to start with that one...

Next dive deep into level2 trading/orderbook. Get a Ninjatrader tradeplatform with a AMP future broker setup - using cqg data feed - on the top a JIGSAW tapereading platform. All in all the cheapest semipro retail future tapereading brokage setup. Then suply it with some softaware that can show the marketprofile...

OR:
Proberly Stage5 with the legendary future71 guy who hopefully can provide you with everything for free in a total "stage5 trade platform" in SIM mode.

If you ask (which you are super welcome to do) you get some heavy answers... LOL not laughing evil...

Best from me...

Tnx :D
But to be honest - my own believe is that all the right stuff is here at kreslik and maybee at FF - like the VZA thread i talked about.
All the AMP Futures brokerage stuff and Stage5 is properly more when you are profitable and you are ready with the plus 20K to fund a full-time trading setup. I lost myself 8k dipping my toe in the futures contract market. Stil got my AMP account ready when I am profitable with my Oanda pocketmoney acount... (though I maybe would stay with Oanda later on)

My experience is that the "in debth market profile/volume stuff" more give sence when you have a broader priceaction understanding/many hours incl. realtime experience. The trading way iex. MO is talking about. Which you btw are rather familiar with now. My interest in the VZA trade style lies mostly in the easy way you can start practice/learning the quite complicated vsa trading plus it can help me stay away from over-trading.

The "Reminiscence of a Stockoperater" is still a must read - it is actually Warren Buffets nr one book about trading...

Here is link where they talk about a demo account at AMP futures with the cqg connection...

Markets are going crazy

Finally we have volatility aka thousands of pips from extreme to extreme, this sounds like NLA is back again lol
