Yes, I am a fitness buff and the last 2+ yrs. have been an aberration.
I’m waaaaaay out of “shape” but what’s funny is that when either my 19yo or 15yo workout with me I can still smoke em’
This time right here stinks to high heaven.
A good thing is I can still do most of the movements.

I’m suppose to work 2-12a
More recently been working 2-2 or 3-3a.
All times central.
I Normally set my alarm for 9a but lately been sleeping till 10a.
Current plan is to “retire” Jan. 1st 2020 (50 yrs old) even if I have to collect cans for spending cash. lol
My wife is cool with it as long as I buy a small camper first that we can use for traveling.
Looking to pay between 5 to 7k.
Plenty of time for Pal Talking then.
My Dad has been retired for 6 yrs already and will be 75 when I quit working. Want to spend more time with both our parents before they all transpire.
If I work till 59 or 62 everyone will be dead. lol

Have you heard of Wim Hof?
I've been using his methods for about a week and my cold tolerance has skyrocketed; I'm often disappointed that the shower cant get any colder.
He has demonstrated that you can do a lot more pushups if you do deep breathing before starting your workout; I haven't tried that yet, but I do have a lot more energy when I start the day with breathing and a cold shower (it works better on an empty stomach).

If you are interested in exploring the kinds of concepts that will increase your inner ''oomph'' for want of a better term, I would strongly suggest t'ai chi ch'üan (Tai Chi). Not the sort of wishy-washy stuff you see dressed up as tai chi, which is just basically graceful movement but the real deal. Train initially by spending an hour or three standing completely still and just working on controlling your breathing and inner focus before moving on to using the inner qi, the flowing energy of your body and the surrounding cosmos.
Once you begin to practice the true ''method'', you will never find a better workout and your energy levels will skyrocket.

Re: ProchargedMopar's Trading Trilogy
Thanks for that video, MO. I don't know where it went!!!
I had an answer all written out for you
No, I haven't. Very, very, interesting.
My gf is a Muay Thai fighter and has moved into Krav Maga and I can't get close to the level of ability she shows there. With my interest in body mechanics to the fore, I went to t'ai chi originally as explained above.
My teacher had trained under Dan Inosanto and that little, tiny, guy could do stuff that would blow your mind. One time, a lesson had ended and we were winding down - myself, brother and brother-in-law as was at the time. We were fascinated by the concept of the one-inch-punch and Michael, my B-in-L, figured he'd be willing to be the subject.
So, we crammed a couple of phone-books down his t-shirt, padded him up as best we could (hey, it was all hype, right?).
Our teacher got us to move a big, chunky, armchair behind our guinea pig - and again, we figured he was just playing along and giving us a laugh.
They got set up.
Well, watch Bruce Lee do this online and see what happened next...
He literally knocked Michael flying off his feet and back into the chair, which like a cartoon, slid back a couple of inches across the floor.
Michael was rockin! We got him up and he was laughing so hard. We asked him how it was and we were like ''you were playing along, right?'' and he says, ''nooooo...that really hurt!''
He had a fist-sized bruise on his chest the next day, lol.
Our teacher never did that again and he did tell us that he had controlled the explosiveness and in no way did he go anywhere near full speed.
Oh and by the way, Michael was a BIG guy. All muscle then from working on engine's all his adult life till then. Our guy was a good ten inches shorter than him and half his weight.
An incredible guy. The techniques I learned from him...wow...and we only scratched the surface before circumstances meant we had to stop our lessons.
Good times.

At this point in life doing a workout gets me breathing hard, lunges start hurting.
That’s good enough for me. lol
