Kreslik is home for alot of us. I am sure many amazing folks have been around for years just lurking around in background, learning and enjoying the read. We love trading, Its in our blood. Its time rise and start giving back. What are your fears?
Competition? There is always enough to go around. Believe me you, external competition is the last thing you need to worry about. We need to conquer what is within first. Share your ideas not your exact entry points, these are yours to keep. Ideas are what new or struggling traders really need.
Fear of being judged? Not on this thread. All ideas are welcome. We all see the world differently, and people only tend to judge concepts they cannot understand at first. Its not personal.
I am doing this as a honest effort to help those traders that are still struggling after many years of struggling, I am hoping some super traders that have been lying dormant can assist in this effort.
To my humble and simple methodology:
Question: As daytraders how many candles do we trade?

Come on folks, I promise its not a trick question. I think many traders are done trading for the year, or perhaps just not interested. Hopefully its not the latter
Side note: Looks like we were spammed again?

I’m happy to see a new thread
About your question I don’t know exactly what you’re asking.. but at the moment I found that I’m trading the last 2 or 3 candles.

Hey Mira, Nice to hear from you. Hopefully you are feeling better.
Simple question brosef, vague in nature I agree. This was intentional, but no tricks. Its simple truth. Get people to think. If you are a Fx day trader, meaning you can open orders within a 24 hour period. How many candles are you "really" trading?

Yep a little better thanks!
However.. mmm.. I don’t know how to answer your question, I think that the answer is 2-3 again.
I mean that I’m following MO’s idea of taking a big candle close/high/low (candle 1).
I’m dropping a few timeframes and I’m trading away from that level (candle 2).
Sometimes the high/low of the range is represented by two big candles instead of one, so I find myself trading 2-3 candles everytime.

Super, I like this "I mean that I’m following MO’s idea of taking a big candle close/high/low (candle 1)." The answer is only 1 open D1 candle for all day traders. Before we focus on previous closes, Question: What is difference between these two open D1 candles?

Please, consider that it’s just what I see and that lines are sketchy.

Mira, there is no right or wrong answer. I am just trying to get others to think and see what I see. Trust me its not ground breaking
The green candle is daily range expansion (aka break out). The red we are not sure what it will do. More to come can't post any charts now.
Re: Rise of the Silent Ones
Now picture this: You are on an African safari ,and come across a lion pride. How would you describe the current behavior of these beasts if it was a direct reflection of the attached chart? The red horizontal lines are the current daily HL.
Hint: Remember the candle comparison above?

I regret giving out the hint. Too easy
