What is an 'intermediate trader'? Is that a subscriber who is already making money?

The market is patterns and breakouts, money is position sizing and management, & the rest is observation and art.

Price came within 7 pips of my tp
then turned back toward the direction of profit.

Now I'm sitting here holding a loss.

It appears to me I am always one step BEHIND the market.
I see the perfect setups AFTER THE FACT so then I try to be Mr smarty pants and trade as a contrarian.

This gives me very little reward for the amount of risk endured.
Then I'm in a trade when against the direction of profit and blind to the best of opportunities.

Lack of faith.
Fear of death.

Guaranteed annihilation of my account.

I guess my questions are:
1. what is the smallest profit that you would take?
2. was that target reached?
3. if you decided to hold then why did you choose to hold everything?
4. would you go long if you were not already in the trade & if you would not then for what reason are you holding?

I had my stop in place at a point where I was comfortable with losing it all.

Yes, I always feel I would like to re-enter OR add to a trade that puts me in drawdown or nears my SL.
Better price to engage market but I've learned its not always the most profitable move to make.
