Pro, looks like you are having too much fun out at Six Flags. I'm in SC, and we are still trying to pick up debris from the little blow through by Hurricane Irma. More could be coming toward the US Southeast coastal areas, yikes. Back to normal this week though, and hopefully entering some of these.

Good trading all,

Columba

Thank you. I really appreciate it. For me anyway, the getting out is always the more challenging side of the entry/exit equation. And my default position is to bail early.

I plan to be in on some trades this week.

I'm practicing this for a designated amount of time,
Win or lose.
See if I learn something.
Seems slow enough to catch most trades.

I'd rather have entered at the yellow line using S/D principles Edit: (Patterns) but lets see what happens.

H4 and h1 both clearly disagreed with my m15 assessment.

I will take this to my own thread to prevent mucking up the good posts in this thread.

My fail with 1-2-3 is determining 1, LOL.

I have not been able to SEE when an 1 appear in the chart.

I suppose that 1 is a important High o Low 2 is a BO of 1 and 3 is price returning to BO.

But when I SEE the chart. I cannot see them clearly. ALmost ever my 1 is formed, 2 appears but with 3 i have problems because price is going against my idea and I dont know when it is going in the same direction of my idea. Sometime price got BO price show somes wicks i put my 2 lines od risk, put my Position, and trade my idea. After, price keep in the same direction it come from. And I´m stopped. :(

Your TTE and profit taking area are dead on. And for most 123's that would be good. Be we Kreslik traders are the true Elite traders. WE know that momo bar closing beyond something is a 1 of the 3 potential momo setups (1 start of trend momo, 2 bend backwards momo, and 3 end of trend momo). So we see a retest of the 2 point which gives us a entry and then the break of the break out bar.

Now everyone know how to place a trade to get some OPM, a possible setup to start a trade with some OPM and when to add on to it. Then at this point since we have a bar that has broke and closed beyond the 2 pivot we have a good idea to hold longer. So if you want since you have 2 orders on you can take profit on 1 and let the other ride.

Will the entry often be a TTE? Yes.
Does dchappy fixate on the TTE? I doubt it.

Your focus should be on the 2 SMA of the close (the one you don't have on your chart), the AO (5/34 SMA HL2), a trend line, & there should be nothing else on your chart.

DC has a very simple strategy if you would just pay attention and do it his way.

If you refuse to do it his way then it is not as simple as 1-2-3; it is all the baggage that you brought with you.
