If you've followed me for any length of time you may know the answer.

Lack of faith in a higher power (aka God)
Lack of faith in me, myself, and (I)rene.
She may have little to do with it but I am one of little faith in others calling a trade for me.
The evidence is shown by anyone who has ever posted a setup in this thread and I totally ignored their advice.

As MO has stated.
I did my best with TROs statistical trading setups but back then I could not follow rules.
Knowing what to do and being able to do it is totally different.
Being able to call trades or markets is NOT the same as being able to profit from them.

This is why dchappy's thread has attracted my attention once again.

If you plan a "scalp" based on daily charts, how many pips would you be aiming for?

I dont know.
I just had a feeling price would bounce for a few days.

If you think of each line as 5 pips (the exact number doesn't matter) and use a stop loss of 2 lines then you only need to know where you
would take profit on a small chart to take profit on a larger chart:
6+ pips = 1+ lines
+15 or 20 pips = 3+ lines
etc.

There are some differences between small charts and large charts: you aren't likely to see a price spike through multiple lines in an hour, market orders can be used without the fear that you will get a bad price, etc.
