Taking a couple of weeks away from the screens (trading-wise at least) but wanted to post up how this week had panned out in some kind of overview. All hindsight of course. Today would have been a bit of a struggle before coming good as far as I can be bothered to check. Yesterday would have paid for my new car. That's trading for ya.

Seven days down, seven to go...

Hi all. It's been a few busy days since hols ended and I just haven't been able to get in on any of these yet. I need to get it back into my trading schedule, as there have been mucho dollars gone begging.

Anyway, as the last chart, here's a look back at the set-ups for this past week...

You will notice that the time hasn't been completely unproductive as I have been looking at how useful the Schaff Trend Cycle indi may be as an overview on directional bias. So far, it is actually looking like it may have some potential. Early days but I'll be keeping it around for a while.

Have a good weekend, all.

Another week's worth of sand runs through the egg-timer. Doesn't time fly when you're having fun!?

As such, here's how the 04:00-08:00 (uk-time) Break has run through the week.

Also just fyi, it was a blast running it from the break of the H1 Pre-US Open candle as well.

Both set ups had a very pronounced long bias on the day.

I was busy elsewhere but having checked what shape the H4 set-up had, it was just too good to pass up. Pretty much a no-brainer when the surf looks as good as this. Shorts only, please :D ...

Your H4 triggers are proving to be very profitable , and convenient ,as far as fitting into a U.S. day-trading lifestyle .I will be switching to using them this fall when I resume trading .Believe me , coming from a 20 yr . scalping (1 &5 min) background ,This is a huge adjustment .It should be a more relaxed way of trading , also a good fit for any trader with a day job . Thanks again !

Thanks for those kind words. It is interesting to hear you have a background in very short-time-frame scalping, as I came from the exact opposite side of the coin, trading very long-time-frames, the daily and weekly, keying off of monthly charts.

I do agree that this H4 04:00 Break method is a game-changer here though. Glad you are coming on board!

Any questions between then and now, feel free to ask.
