Rangebar lovers.... works on them too...
Im posting this because I hear all the time, the "sema's repaint"! YES THEY DO!

So think about it..if we know this.... why in the world do you get out every time a 3 sema 1st shows up? This is what I ask!!!????

Using the 3 sema as an "initial run" and taking the 2nd one give you a very powerful setup.

Doji zone, 123 setup, HH and HL, uhhhhhhh..... Isnt this confluence enough?

Some people just arnt cut out for trading... just sayin

Next thought for you guys to look at......

I trade the 3 sema when it shows up...
am I doing it blindly? No
The sema 3 shows up after breakouts.
Breakouts form cyphers (z's).
As long as there is room to take ticks as price reverses to the breakout to form the cypher and I have a dojizone, Im all over it.

If your scratching your head right now.... look at the breakouts...what happens before and after with a trendline going thru the breakout.?

Its there, you just need to learn to see it.

I tried to record a live trade and discuss the thought process (PA story) as I took it but didn't realize I was limited to 5 min recording time so this will have to be then next best thing.

The last blue dojizone price broke below with momentum down and then retraced back to zone (point a = ideal place to enter)
I entered late due to trying to record. lol I entered short a point b. It gave me 4 ticks. I go to break even at 5 ticks. Had I entered at point a I would have closed it at point c due to having 9-10 ticks.
anyways, I was short at point b price came back up with momentum and broke the dojizone. I reversed at the green line, point d and went from 1 contract to 4 contracts. I used to just go for BE on my previous trade loss but have come to realize I can make profit too. Price action does not like to hang out at the zones. I exited at point e with a trailing stop of 2 ticks to protect my trade.

Results
1st trade loss of one contract for 8 ticks + commission = $(85.00)
2nd trade (reversal) win with 4 contracts for 11 ticks - commission = $415.00
net profit = $330

I have shown many examples of 1st trade winners. Reversals are a bit harder to catch and explain. Thus the purpose of this trade chart.

Done.

Love London, just wish it wasnt so late for me here.

Just tripled what I did during Asian session in 6 minutes.

Done and calling it a night!

peace out

Wonderful posts Doji, thanks a lot.

Somehow i feel my eyes we're opened last night after V8power comments too, 20 pips a day.

Attached a setup i took, we had momo down already, price came back to it made an initial run down and i entered.
Next price retraced back up but wasnt able to move past this down momozone thats why i did enter another time.

Now i might be off with this 2nd entry, not sure though. Once it should close above the zone i needed to exit the shorts and open 4 trades long to make up half of the pips lost + bonus pip.

Notice how i also drew the 'clone' you mentioned. Though it took a while for price to move down, i exited to early because i thought price stalled and i was at least in profit. Short moment later, price really hitted the low of this 'cloned' initial run box..

Now i need to become consistent when i got time for trading and then aggressivly add lots.
Freedom is near, i can almost smell it... or its something else?

same approach...
Marked the momo down zone before. came back to the computer later and just did enter short since the box still wasnt closed above.

price seemed to make new up momo's but since the marked one wasnt closed above, trade was still ok.
Exit at prev low.

simple... eh?
I started also to use the tickcharts again, somehow they suit me better i guess..

Now i need to stick to x pips a day and increase lots.

Thanks doji

So we are not taking the reversal necessarily at the failed zone but at the NEXT opposite zone, then if they match or not Is just a random thing.. is this right?

Thank you much :D

Not sure what your asking.

A up momentum followed by a down momentun is a bearish zone
A down momentum followed by a up Momentum is a bullish zone
reversals are the close out the opposite side of the above zones.
