NeoTicker winter 2007 discount for kreslik.com members

Postby michal.kreslik » Mon Dec 10, 2007 11:14 am

Hello, friends,

many of you have been requesting a new NeoTicker discount for kreslik.com members in the past months. I contacted Tickquest's head of sales last week and they granted us a new winter 2007 NeoTicker discount.

Some time ago, Tickquest switched from USD-based to CAD-based charging for their software. Apparently, this move was caused by the falling US dollar.

But now, at least for the whole last month, the USD has been rallying against the CAD. So the price tags set in CAD are actually becoming more advantageous than the price tags set in USD.

So the basic parameters of the winter 2007 NeoTicker discount are:
  • NeoTicker permanent license discount price: CAD 1.197 (regular: 1.497)
  • NeoTicker + Grid optimizer bundle discounted price: CAD 1.797 (regular: CAD 2.297)
  • last day kreslik.com members can apply for this discount: January 8th, 2007
So if you're interested, please contact me via PM or email and I'll relay your application to Tickquest.

Please keep in mind that January 8th, 2008 is the absolute deadline for the discount application.

I'd like to mention that I'm not affiliated with nor compensated for the NeoTicker sales in any way. I'm just a satisfied user of this platform and I'm happy to assist in providing an easier access to this platform for our members by organizing this discount. My opinion is that NeoTicker is the most open platform of today.

Have a great trading day!
Michal

Edited/corrected: deadline for the application is January 8 th, 2008

Regarding your post;

I am currently testing the NT4 product in demo mode with eSignal data. Is this product allowing you to be more effective and/or improved your trading performance?

One advantage this product has (for a non-developer like me) is the option of writing formulas into a quote window. For people with limited coding skills, what other advantages do you see besides broker / datafeed dependence.

Speaking of datafeeds, have you uncovered any reliable providers for futures/forex/stocks that are much more cost efficient than esignal?

Thanks,

Hi, axelar,

I'm using NeoTicker because it allows for an automated trading of any security that your broker offers. Obviously, it's not only more effective to trade on an automated basis, but it also removes emotions from the trading.

NeoTicker is actually not dependent on any particular broker / datafeed. It connects to virtually any broker that offers an order interface API.

You can use the EFX Forex data feed for NeoTicker. If you open a demo account, it's free. I don't know about futures or stocks.

Do you mean sign up by Jan 8th 2008?

Do we get to use it asap when we sign up?

Also do they charge your card in CAD or USD converted from CAD. I only ask because my credit card charges a 3% fee for foreign transactions.

Thanks for setting this up!

regards

Hi, Borsaci,

the last day you can apply for the kreslik.com members discount is Jan 8th 2008, sure. I'm sorry, I corrected the wrong 2007 date in the introductory post. Thanks for pointing out at the error.

Tickquest is usually sending out the USB key via FedEx, I got mine in about 2 working days from Canada to Europe.

I don't know about the exact way on how the transactions are being processed. I'll relay your request to Tickquest and you can consult that with them.

I talked with tickquest further.
Payment is done through paypal in CAD. Then paypal has it's exchange rate to your currency and tacks on a 2.5% spread that paypal pockets.

Does your deal still include paying the 100CAD setup fee?

thanks again.

Hi, Borsaci,

we were not talking about any setup fees with Tickquest, so I guess it does not, but you should check that with Tickquest.

I'm presenting the deal for the kreslik.com members exactly as it was set up with Tickquest.

By the way, tomorrow is the last day to apply.

I agree that Paypal does s*ck. I'm not using it any more if I don't absolutely have to.

Michal
