Neo Ticker or TradeStation - it's decision time

Postby Shane280us » Thu Jun 28, 2007 12:33 pm

Hi everyone, well I've reached a cross road where I'm ready to move away from just using Esignal for charting, but not sure which direction to go between these to in the subject line. So I have some basic questions but feel free to add any advantage of one over the other.

Tradestation - my understanding is, if I fund a forex account with 5k then it's free ? What about if the account falls below 5k or I draw it down to say 2k is there a monthly fee ? and they don't offer a demo of the program.

Neo Ticker - I have just downloaded a demo to view it. I know I can purchase this program outright and I don't have to fund an account to get it.

I've been live trading a mini account on the Forex with Esignal/EFX Group.

So I know I'll probably cause some debate by asking this, but which have most traders found to be more user friendly?

Any advice would be appreciated.

thanks Shane

TS or NT ???

Are you and Ausie in Texas? A great combination.

There are several thread about NT and TS.

My thoughts in brief: NT has a lot of wonderful features for serious long term traders; my thoughts are expanded in earlier posts which you can easily look up.

The NT downside: if you are a programmer, great, if not I would go with TS until more indicators and autotrade systems become available for NT both here on kreslik and on NT sites.

Patch,

Aye, I've lived in the states for about 5 years now. Thanks for the info, a programmer I'm not, I dabble but I'm on wonder boy. So for me perhaps using the easy language would be the way to go and lean towards TS.

Thanks again

Shane

Remember one thing, easylanguage, is anything but.

I just sent you a PM, and will ask the writer's permission to post his recent PM to me, to post here as well.

PS Shane280us

With the junk going on in the US Senate this past week,

I am just wondering,

Are you here legally by any chance ?

A bad and sad question ?
