I just recieved an email from Admiralmarkets

they state:
from the 15 April on, they have to deinstall some very cool Features due to an Annoucement from Metaquotes.
This may effect all kind of Instruments, you are using on your MT4 - from Indicators to EAs

Please ask your Broker and confirm this changes, if any and report them here

and if this is true, what should/can we do?

Please add to your ad blocker white list.
Thank you for your support.

I heard they will/must block the extern DLLs, because of ? copyrights of the different one click trading tools which be offered rom many brokers. Now One Click tool is integrated in MT4.

This is the email i recieved from FXCM:

Dear Client,

FXCM has made changes to the way MT4 accounts connect with our dealing desk execution model. We are pleased to announce that you may begin to experience tighter spreads on the 12 most popular currency pairs. You will see these changes to your account on Sunday, May 5, at market open.

IMPORTANT: There will be steps you need to take to ensure that your trading continues uninterrupted ? see below.

Your open positions and orders will remain intact and you may continue to use the same login and password to access your account.
Currency pairs will appear with a ?dd? suffix on the MT4 and MT4 mobile platforms. For example the EURUSD pair will appear as EURUSDdd.

You will need to take action to update your charts and Expert Advisors (EAs).

To view all available instruments, simply right click in the Market Watch window and select ?Show All.?
In order to receive data on your charts you will need to add the newly renamed currency pair symbol (for example EURUSDdd) to your charts.
If you have an EA running, you must update the EA chart with the new symbol. New open or close orders from your EAs will not trigger if you do not update your charts.
