List of Forex Brokers after Swiss disaster

Postby roman.miklus » Mon Jan 19, 2015 9:51 am

Hello,
I tried to search and complete list of Brokers affected by SNB "failure". It was very interesting to see how brokers reacted. I think that everybody was affected and most of them lost millions. Nobody can see real numbers, because it is completely new situation. In some statements in list below could be a big portion of strategy and marketing statements. Some of them are facing real risk of insolvency and some of them are hungry and ready to acquire competitors in troubles (Is it really truth? :) ).
So these data were more or less valid last night and we will see next days. I wish you better theme for discussion than broker’s troubles because they are our business partners. Have a better week than last! Roman

I would hazard a guess at ig being fine even with the 'heavy' loss

If what this guy says here is correct then really it is all a smokescreen

Plus, I thought brokers just see the average retail trader as a cash cow, not really partners, more like challengers 8)

Hi,
For someone is 10 millions USD heavy loss for someone 200 millions USD.
As I wrote this morning, nobody from us will know real story behind...
And because I do not believe in this "truth" which is spread across the world and forex news portals, I would not put any numbers into this list. 8)

Notice where Gain stands in the above list .They learned some lessons during the last fiasco .I had lost a small account with Refco years ago ,and then went with
Gain cap because they were one of the largest at the time. Hopefully this will be a lesson to some of the higher leveraging brokers .

Thank alot for sharing this, Its the first time I am hearing the news that Roboforex was suspended. I've tried checking them out but they just keep referring me to the exness Site. I don't know if roboforex was sold to them or they just sold out
