I'm pretty sure I understand what dchappy is looking for.

If there is something that has been re-iterated to me over the past year with ICT it is that there is NO trading God.

This chart here proves it yet again.

These types of actions historically do not end well.
It is ONLY when a person becomes OK with mistakes and losses while also doing everything in their power to minimize their effects that they PROSPER.
There is no other way.

Hedging would not be my preferred method at this point.
But I still see why dchappy is doing it from a psychological standpoint.

I'm not "judging" dc's actions.
I'm observing.

No need to get our panties in a bunch.
He is a confident guy and appears to be very successful at what he does.
A few posts from me will surely not dissuade him.

1. apply 'PERFECT_BAR' indicator (if you apply last then the bars will be drawn over the MA...and you don't want that)
2. 2 SMA of the close in light gray (make the line thicker) & levels of 1 and +1 in Dodger blue.
3. 34 SMA HL/2 in light gray (thicker line), 1 and +1 levels in black (makes it look more hand-drawn)

I think that the 40 SMA HL2 works better with the 2 SMA of the close.

a/b/c is only 13-15 pips from the price level but what about the longer wicks around the #3?
I would simply watch a 30 minute bar close over these price levels and then adjust the level
down to that price.

I learned to trade divergence when I was with ProAct Traders but it is not something that I have ever found to be useful.
Personally I just look at the H3+ for price levels, fine tune them with the M30, and then apply proper position sizing and money management.

Maybe you can show me how divergence can lead to better signals?
