Patch, there are various reasons for a trader to move to Monaco, but above all, the most simple and important is - the taxes. There are NO taxes for individuals in Monaco ZERO.
besides:
- probably the safest place on earth, virtually no crime at all. in Monaco, there's the highest number of policemen per capita in the world (1 policeman for about 60 citizens!). an old lady can walk with a diamond necklace alone at 3 am anywhere in Monaco and she is safe.
- absolutely clean, I've only seen this cleanness in some small cities in the Netherlands. the garbage is being collected a couple of times per day, for instance. all the parks and streets are being kept in an immaculate state. the grass always looks like it has been just cut. it's unlikely that you spot a cigarette butt on the street.
- a lot of high profile cultural and sports events all year round. Just now we had the F1 Grand Prix and Tour de France Grand start. Monaco has got its own opera & philharmonic orchestra. Monaco is home to the famous Country Club where the world tennis ATP tournaments are taking place. you can also play golf there.
- a couple of beaches directly in Monaco (Monaco lies on the coast)
- 60 minutes in a car to the fine 3000m ski slopes in Alpes Maritimes
- cloudless sky almost all the time. according to the official statistics, there are more than 300 days of sunshine in Monaco. ideal for open roadsters
- perfect climate all year round, never too hot, never too cold. no snow.
- a couple of harbors for yachts
- yes, quite expensive, but if you take into account how much you save on taxes, you actually save a lot of money in your grand total.
- everyone speaks English. You can also speak French and Italian around here.
- high quality infrastructure, including, obviously, high speed internet
- 20 kms far from the Nice international airport - when I take a helicopter from Monaco directly to the Nice airport, it takes 7 minutes. flight connections to the whole world from Nice airport.
- best quality food I've seen anywhere in the world
- nice French and Italian girls around
Come over, take Avery and other pirates and visit me in Monaco

Hi, Michal - lucky you are to have such a great choice!
Do you know by any chance, is these Zero (income) taxes
applies to native residents of Monaco
or for foreign citizens (living in Monaco) as well?
What is the official language over there?
Is buying property in the Kingdom enough to become a citizen of it?
