Today I traded between all other things in life.
In my case that's never a good idea. I need to concentrate and stay focussed.
Whenever I place a trade when I'm waiting somewhere, I am almost guaranteed to have a loss.
Stupid. Why do I keep doing that? It's a waste of time...it's a waste of money.

I had about 6 of these losses today.
When I was back home I took 2 trades, fully focussed this time, to make things right.
Next time when I have the urge to play with my phone, I'll try to do better.

Couple of trades this morning:

#1 was long but was short lived. Wasn't a good location in the first place so I took just over a pip loss.
#2 m1, when I closed #1, I reversed because this looked good. Going down to the demand zone and mitigating that FVG on m5. Closed the trade.
#3 if I close a trade because I believe it's not going down anymore, it must go up, so I went long. Took a couple of pips but got scared
#4 entered a new long from that IB but there was no follow through and price seems to have problems taking that high.

In total I took about 19 pips so that's enough for me to go out and enjoy the weather today :D

Nice trade. Just wanted to see some charts this evening and had no intention to trade.

I like to try and get the most out of a leg.
In this case the leg was 100pts and I snatched 70 of it.

Was a bit afraid that price would dip deeper in that demand area but risked just that m1 doji as price was already stalling on the m5.
SL just over 10pts. Time to go to bed.

This morning price was moving very slow on EU.
Asian range was only 10 pips so that was a bit of a sign.
Wanted to get short after London broke the Asian high but did not get an entry.

When price was done wiping out all the longs, it dipped below the Asian low it was time to hop on and ride it back up and wipe out all the short traders.
In the darker purple-ish zone I tried to add but it didn't work out and I lost about 3R
Because price moved so slow and I had to go, I had to lock in my profits and exit as I would not be able to manage this trade.
(Every time I close a trade I look over my shoulder because I hear IgazI say: "do you have to close it?")

So...+20R - 3R (my two losses) = net 17R

If you have to go, then you have to go.

If your focus was on trading the H4 then you could have definitely held it:
generally, we use:
- support when looking to go long
- resistance when looking to go short
- and remove S/R, when in a trade, in favor of using a TL
. . .or "trailing dem lows"

The smaller your size the more you should think about taking profit and increasing your minimum size the next go around.

The larger your size the more you think about catching an H4 that turns into a weekly trade that makes your year.

My target actually was the 1.07 mark and see from there.
I am adding the "check the H4" to my list because it happens more and more that I have the need to see the bigger picture. :!:

Packing my stuff... Off to a cabin deep in the woods.
Hiking, reading and good simple food.
Any recommended trading reads?
