Are you finding more consistency?

Nooo....not yet.
But today I made a little list on trade setups I do best; this one is absolutely on number one. A pullback after a big move.
I really like to trade these.

#2 inside bars at deadhorse
#3 reversal on a deadhorse
#4 regular deadhorse continuation
#4 reversal after break of a session high/low

I made the list in my search for more consistency so I can focus better.

I like that plan, it's good to settle down with a strategy and try and make it work. I have the deadhorse as my bias guide, a bit loose on the triggers as I am still playing with different pieces , learning more structure etc . Juggling between the 1m and 5m deadhorse.

You are wobbling on MT4 or MT5?

Wobbling on MT4 so the single threaded execution is a pain/ inaccurate when closing lots of orders already open.

I had the same issue. Only solution for me was to use fewer orders. Hard to beat Apiary funds platform for wobbling.

Have you tried MT5 it is nicer?

Yeah, lots of smaller orders can translate into bigger/fewer orders which I am keeping in mind/practising.
I heard C-Trader can handle do parallel execution, obviously that will restrict what brokers I can use and indicators etc.
No haven't used MT5 yet, I am thinking about checking it out soon to see if handles orders a bit better and see what other cool features it brings to the table.

The idea going forward should be to master your list without adding to it. Execution, Exits, Money Management.

Yes. That's the plan.
There is a #5 and #6 but I am just not doing very well with these trades so I can trade them but not live.
Re-focus and 8) so I can't be blinded by shiny things

I use the whole candle, with the wicks.
They work better if price takes out the other end of the candle before going to your entry point.

And I took one more...

Inside bar. Price move was backed up by that double bottom and the need to mitigate that big red candle.
The inside bar was right at yesterday's low. (Thin red dotted line)
The low was already broken but price is still reacting to that level so it paused when is was coming back up and printed that inside bar right at that level.
When it broke I went long and took profit @ 1.5 R somewhere at the top of the 2nd green candle after the IB.

OK Thanks, on a fresh hourly candle I wait a few mins for a wick to form before looking for a trade.

No idea what you mean with hourly candle and why.

If you look at these hourly candles, those wicks at the top are normally formed in the first few mins of the hour open, before the candle resumes it's intended course and heads down.

So on my second day increased volume a bit more later on, less trades, similar result which is good (for me anyhow) for the 10K demo.
