S & R range needed, oscillator or gauge???

Postby jimmynz » Thu Jul 16, 2009 11:14 am

ive been looking for a indicator which tells me the average span from the last support line to the latest resistance line in the last say' 50 or 100 bars.

i have a system that works well in big waves of eg 150+ pips
eg gbp/usd 1hr for june

where as a steady trend gives me problems as:
the same chart for may

any help?

id prefer an oscillator where i can put a parameter line in at a value of eg 100 pips so i knew the type of market were in
or
a gauge that states the average of the last x amount of S & R's?

tro's barry SR & DYNAMIC_FIBS_SR state the s & r's but not the average between them

thanks for your help.

What do you mean the average between them?

previous was 92 pips (R to S)
previous to that was 154 pips (S to R)...

id like to know the av of the last X amount.
