Resetting of Hourly BuyZone question

Postby camdavis » Sat Dec 08, 2007 8:21 am

So here goes another question as I'm new and trying to figure all this out. Once the buy zone is set for the day, is it the same zone for the whole trading session or is it supposed to be reset every hour? This brings me to another question, if it is supposed to be reset every hour on the hour, can the buy zone indicator be programmed to reset itself every hour or do you have to manually draw new lines yourself every hour? Thanks in advance.

Cam: Reseting the buy zone every hour is something I do to take advantage of the fact the usdjpy usually moves 20 pips or more every hour.

After importing this ELD ( _TRO_BuyZone_Time
), I believe the indicator you need is _TRO_BuyZoneTime_P. Edit the indicator input data fields istartTime and iEndTime to the correct hour. For example to set the hourly time 8:00 to 9:00, enter 0800 and 0900 respectively.
