what is rat method of determination of ranging markets and trending markets ??

Rats do not determine ranging markets or trending markets - YALE STUDENTS DO!!

so rats method is independent of market conditions ??

just wait for a red candle to close within 20 pips inside red box or a green candle to close within 20 pips inside green box ??

I though if trending then price can go a few more bars after breaking the rat indi 2 boxes ?

YES! Yale students concern themselves with "market conditions".

just wait for a red candle to close within 20 pips inside red box or a green candle to close within 20 pips inside green box ??

I have posted the rules.

I though if trending then price can go a few more bars after breaking the rat indi 2 boxes ?

Price can go up or down at either extreme.

Read the below thread like a book, it will bring you up to speed and answer a lot of your questions. When you get to the end ask your questions in the same thread. You may want to go through it a couple of times and make sure you understand. It will come together for you like this. The journey is a large part of the fun. Enjoy.
