By the way I like the concept of trading below/above daily and weekly open at the same time

Is there a way to help see what I can't see with the way you can trade this?

One way I could see it working is by trading the hourly same as you would with the horizontal line trades.

You have both lines daily and weekly drawn.
Weekly open as you bias
Daily open as a trigger

So every time the price crosses the daily open in conjunction with the weekly open on the hourly you would enter. exit when it looks like you giving it back

I just dropped in to see how everybody is doing.

I am still trading and perfecting my work. One thing noobs should know is that, trading will always be a work in progress. Be prepared to adapt and change. Fixed strategies, in terms of their parameters will always require modification in the long-run. You must be prepared to alter your parameters, whilst keeping the jist of the method fixed.

For those of you coding an automated system like I did, be very archaic in your code and do not neglect security in it. It may be possible for a broker to see your code somehow and definitely see your trading patterns. It may be harmeless curiosity, but I suggest you throw in an element of randomness in your strategy code, such as small BS or even large BS trades that exit quickly or do something extremely unusual. Anything that will make it difficult to deduct a logical pattern/theory from anybody examining trading transactions or code.

I have spent some time lately focusing on the security of my work. Perhaps, I am a bit paranoid - but where money is involved, you should always be careful. Part of my paranoia started when I called a help-desk, where I was transferred to a manager who was interested in knowing more about what I was doing, he seemed to know more than he should, and more than I was comfortable with and I got the vibe I was being studied. I think he was just another trader that meant well and was just curious, but after working hard this long, it's not greed that you're protecting, but blood & sweat but more importantly preventing your method from becoming public. It may not be a company who is interested, but private individuals. Just be smart about it. Protect your code intelligently.

Anyways, as for myself:

I have moved to Dubai from Toronto in the last two years temporarily. Dubai is good for banking & tax laws. However, the country is beginning to lose its' novelty aspect now that I am becoming accustomed to it. There has been some talk in the country with regards to introducing a form of capitals-gains tax, so I may move back.

However ,the nice part is their currency is permanently fixed to the U.S. dollar, keeping money in the bank here does not incur exchange risk.

If anybody from this forum plans to travel here within the next 6 months or so - give me a shout and we can meet up. :)
