I've been trying the http://www.efxgroup.com navigator and it's rubbish!!! Is there any other broker that offers good spreads like efx and uses the metatrader?

thanks, ed

Ed,

Like anything new, it may take time to get comfortable with the EFX platform. Initially, I didn't like it but am getting familiar to the point I do like the order function now. I'm trying to customize the rest to my liking.

As far as MT4 platforms, look at it http://www.migfx.com/. They're a Swiss company and they're spreads look pretty. I'm looking at them for the same reason you are because I'm tinkering with an EA for the Buy Zone and to me, a BZ EA is only reasonable with small spreads or brokers such as EFX.

Hope this helps...Rando

YES!
watch price movement on the various mt4 brokers, and compare to efx, really you want the closest one IMO. if your using buyzone sure its not terribly critical. in the case of this particular thread, yes its important because he is not using EFX.

use Alpari or native MT4 as datafeed. it is good for trading BZ. do not use MT4 for trading, use only ECN type brokers (like efx/mbt, IB). use limit orders only (for all - entry exit stoploss). TRO posted here at the forum - "if your broker does not show you LevelII/Market depth data - you throw your money away". It is true. if you will stare at LevelII datafeed for 2-5 months everyday - you will "read it" surely.
