Made me work this morning on EurUsd. 5min entries allowed me to take trades and get out with small win or small loss huge difference.

Where as before i would locked out from the trade cause of breakout points.

There are two forces acting upon us: Suffering pushes us forward from behind and pleasures entice us and pull us forward.

Hi Doji and All,

How does this one look please?
Looking at it with my eyes, its an older Zline broken to the upside by the candle before arrow, (with close above line), enter on retracement (where arrow is) on 5 minute chart. Good for about 20 pips.

Open for feedback please.
Am I looking "left" correctly here?

Thanks,
Westcountry

PS. Thanks to All on this thread for your great contribution.

You had two things working against you:

1) a series of three candles with shrinking body sizes pointing to S/D above your position.

2) buying into a longer red candle.

When you go long, you should do so because price is closing higher than something.

If you buy on a retrace then you should do so because a higher period chart has closed over something.

Bodies should be facing the direction of profit & wicks should face the direction of loss...
& size matters =)
