That is a good indicator. I believe the alert is shown when market touches the critical level. If the H1 and D1 candle show the same color, you buy or sell.

[quote="ForexShawn" I am not keen on the platform because it is not very user friendly when it comes to quickly manipulating the size and position of candles. In my trading that feature is very important.

Any insights would certainly be appreciated.[/quote]

I've no idea how you manipulate the size and position of candles. However mt4 manipulates the display of the candles size. (Not sure if that's the right way to put it.)

To have consistency in the size of candles with mt4 you need to:
select the charts properties > common > scale fix.
Is price closing higher or lower than something? Simple yet powerful question. ..MO

Thanks for the feedback, Humble. Actually MT4 can't do what I want it to. It is not a matter of tweaking existing settings. That's why I am looking for a good programmer or one someone can recommend to help me with a little project.
At this point I need 3 questions answered:
a) Is it possible to do what I want done?
b) How much will it cost?
c) How long will it take?
I can refer any interested parties to a existing brokers proprietary trading platform to see exactly what I am looking for. The end goal is plainly visible.
There is no confusion on that part of the project...:D
