I now use open +/- 9/10 pips as the buy zone triggers instead of +/- 3/4.

This change was based on frequency distribution of daily wick size.

Repetition just for the sake of it done in a faulty manner??...........Refer back to above.

A stop loss does not protect profit, its only job is to mitigate loss.

If you have a profit then its only job can be to make your trades less profitable because Mr SL works in the loss department

I find it amusing that people would cry about the troubles of picking THE highest high of a daily extreme and yet pick THE top by not trusting the extreme with a take profit order.

"MO, i know that the last 24 times price made an even higher high, but what if the 25th time i am waiting and price reverses"

Then you get out, then you get out

Take a lesson from TRO, use statistics to your advantage!

I tell you the truth, if you think that price is nearing the top and you are using a trend line to exit then you might as well cut your lot size in half because that is all a further push is worth to you; 1/3 to 1/2 of whatever you profit you see.
