NeoTicker + EFX group = they're game

Guess what!

I've just learned EFX group forex broker (the one Avery was talking about, see below) supports NeoTicker as a trading platfrom!

http://www.tickquest.com/NeoTicker/data.html

I am looking forward to aspTrader's new NT optimizer presentation.

EFX is indeed one of the finest fx brokers, so if they support automated trading via NT, the only thing I really do need for making a switch to NT is the GA availability. Then I won't put up with TS inability to change and innovate any more.

spread at all. I don't pay a spread, instead I pay a commission.
EFXgroup trades in mini lots ($10k) and the commission was about
$.64 each way. So 10 mini lots = 1 lot. I would pay $6.40 * 2 =
$12.80 for a round trip trade. Compare that to $30 one would pay
using TradeStation/GAIN (www.forex.com).

2) EFXGroup has Level II for FOREX. So I can see what the banks
see. I can see the REAL SPREAD, not the dummy spread like on
www.forex.com. Sometimes the BID is above the ASK. That alone, is
a tip off of things to come.

3) Because of #1 and #2, I started making money when the currency
moves 2 pips in my direction. Think 100 lots times 3 pips. That
prints a $100 bill.

4) Use the MSheiner_Text2d indicator along with my dynamic S/R
showme on a 5 minute chart. Add the middle indicator on the 60
minute chart and you have your very own money machine.

HTH.

Not only EFX supports NeoTicker as a trading platfom, they even offer a full forex trading automation with NeoTicker.

Today I've received a reply to my question from the NeoTicker support:

NeoTicker with EFX is a complete forex solution - including trading system automation.

Regards,
Sales

Another interesting information: Monthly fee for NeoTicker + EFX datafeed = $90.

Hi Michal, was just wondering what the break down of the above cost is (i appreciate this was done in 2006). from what i have heard you can get efx (tdfx) from esignal. Do you or anyone else have any advice as to whether this is the best way to obtain an efx tick data feed?

Thanks in advance

Hi, Firefly,

I'm no longer trading on EFX and I'm only using NeoTicker for analysis (sometimes). I'm trading on an interbank market directly.

Hi Michal,

and thanks for all the advice in the forum.

Do you have any advice about the requirements or how can we do the same? I mean to trade on interbank directly.

thanks

Well, it's quite a complex task. First of all, are you ready for a couple of years of hard work?

Thanks for replying.

Yes I am ready, I have been already researching this for 2 years already. I know it is not easy and takes time and work. And I know you have already put in a lot of work, and perhaps you don't want to tell all the details, which is fine, I am just looking for some pointer so I can look in the right direction, if it's not much of a problem.

Thanks

Good Morning Michal

What time is it in Monaco? How did you decide to go to M? How do you like it there?

I wonder if you could program into the website software an ability to jump to a particular page number in a thread. Last weekend I started reading Never Lose Again and have been leaving it open to the page I left off on. Wednesday my wife closed IE Explorer and I had to go page by page to page 120 something? Off to work I go... thank you, Jeff In VA

Patch,

If you want to get to a specific page in a thread you change the "start parameter" in your browser's website address bar:

There are 10 posts per page so just add a 0 to the end ie 1200 and subtract 10 = 1190 to get to page 120

For the NLA thread:

page 120=
http://kreslik.com/forums/viewtopic.php ... start=1190 <<just change this number

page 125=

http://kreslik.com/forums/viewtopic.php ... start=1240

How did you figure this one out.

Too cool and I like simple.

Thanks very much, this would have save me lots of time a couple nights ago. I've been saving a Favorites page every 10 and 25 pages starting from 0. Patch

ADDED:
PS It works. All I did was I wanted to go to page 178, so I entered 1780, the page came up and I went back one page. I could have entered 1770 also. Both work.
