Switched to MB from Tradestation and there is one glaring factor that TS almost always had screwed up. MB actually sends out notices very quickly relating to system problems. There is an alerts box you have open to show these messages at anytime. If many of you remember, TS always showed "green" meaning no problems or trouble when we all knew otherwise.

MB now?

Seeing that you've been MB for a while, per your last post, how would you rate them now?

Any advice for someone about to fund my account with them?

Regards,

Scott

I'm glad you are happy with MB, I tried their demo, and after the first trade I decided it was cheaper to use a regular broker who just charges for the spread.
1 trade with 3 lots if I remember correctly cost me (demo) about $12 more than a regular broker charging a 2 pip spread on the EURUSD

I quickly uninstalled the program

Hey gang,

I'm trying to do a background check on MBT through the NFA and CFTC before I fund an account. I am trying to search for any possible problems that they may have had in the past, or any current outstanding issues. I have searched through and not found anything myself, but I am wondering if there is anyone that may be able to point me in a better direction in my search using those sites?

What brought me here to ask? Well, I remembered an article in my earlier days of trading that Fxcm posted. Although they obviously are using it as a sales tactic, I am not well versed enough to decide if MBT is safe in all of the points mentioned in the article, and if the points are weighted appropriately. I will post the article link below, hopefully this doesn't affect me as a member here. remove the post if it violates any rules. thanks.

never mind, MBT is only permissioned for Ontario in CANADA, and I live in Alberta so no can do. I will email the guys at MBT and tell them to get on it. TRO, maybe you should do this as well since you will likely have more clout being an IB.

Ive just opened a demo for mt4 at MB and this is weird- check these histories for USD/JPY

This is the MB data, lines are from the TRO_BZ indicator, the info panel is my own.

This is from the basic MT4 datafeed

you can see the data range values dont often match and this seems to be because of the missing candles in the MB data.

there are a lot of examples of this discrepancy, based on a quick look

Is anyone else noticing this, and is there a fix.

BTW i'd ask on the MB forum except for its almost unusable color scheme when entering a post.

I have been MB Trading, MT4 for the past few days and noticed that their data feed is not continuous. The time stamp on the tick chart pauses, continues and pauses., Any suggestion will be really helpful.

How can I move the text on my screen. I tried to move the "/", by double clicking, then left-click hold and move. But still it didnt move the text on screen.

I tried to resolve it by calling the help desk of MB Trading and they are not helpful at all. They asked me to contact the provider of indicator.
