Dan,

EFX has been consolidated by their primary holder MBTrading. You can now trade Forex with MBT.

Dan,

Even though the page is stating they are not taking anymore applications I think you'll find they are but jut not advertising it.

I downloaded MT4 from their site with the same message being displayed, I reached out to support via chat provided my email address and within 10 minutes they sent me a username and password. I've been using it for the past 6 weeks now.

good luck.

TRO

You're right, I should have been clearer. On the MBT site they offer MT4 but on their MT4 page they state they are not accepting applications for it. After I had downloaded MT4 I had to contact their support to activate a demo account. The program would not allow me to sign up. They are still showing the same message now, I thought I'd share how I got around it.

I'm still wondering if it's possible to use MT4 charts but trade via MBT Navigator, they data feeds don't seem to match but perhaps I'm missing something.

I use Alpari UK MT4 charts along side the Navigator. I use the Market Depth window in the Navigator to see the Level II information and the MT4 charts to see my trade triggers.

I find it to be an advantage having multiple data feeds.

Hi All,

just adding some info in my first post here
(been here before; me dutch for the moment residing in the land of beer and chocolats aka belgium and working in IT. at heart a good programmer from before there where pc's (growing old is mandatory;growing up uptional) but a lazy :-) one, so have2thank TRO for all his efforts. further in the learning curve 2 becoming a monkey!

also looked at mbtrading, seems a great broker (although no mt4 yet),
but the navigator has also its advantages.

seen that iticsoftware has a bridge from mt4-->mbtnavigator which cost
around 1800$

but also seen that pfsoft , maker of protrader platform has multistation version with which you can log into your mbtrading account.
protrader supports strategies (like EA's on metatrader) so you can automate your plan for when the monkey sleeps

best is maybe that protrader strategie supports mql4 language.
think there are still some quirks , but nicky at www.pfsoft.com forum at www.protrader.org is fast answering questions and willing to help.
