Standard Chartered Lands Paul Skelton from HSBC, Joining APAC Unit

HSBC’s loss is Standard Chartered’s gain, after it managed to secure veteran banker Paul Skelton in its latest hire, installing him as its newest Global Head of Banking, according to a recent Reuters report.

Mr. Skelton will be joining Standard Chartered in December to man its Singapore operations – in this capacity he will be reporting to Simon Cooper, Standard Chartered’s CEO for Corporate and Institutional Banking and former HSBC departure.
