CMC Markets Reports FY 2016 Results with Strong Profit Growth Since Listing

Leading online multi-asset brokerage firm CMC Markets Plc, has today reported its final results for its year that ended March 31st 2016, with all top-line numbers reported higher including net operating income which was up 18% to £169.4 million from £143.6 million reported in 2015, according to filings made with the London Stock Exchange (LSE).
CMC noted that its underlying profit before tax reached £62.4 million and was higher by 20% compared to £51.9 million in the prior year. The number of active clients rose by 14% during the same period and reached 57,329, while the amount of revenue per ... (read more)
