BATS Retains Strong Market Share Across US, Europe in February

BATS Global Markets (BATS) has disclosed its volumes for the month ending February 2015, which incurred a decline its US and European equities volumes, which was offset by retaining a near record high market share, according to a BATS statement.
US Equities on BATS exchanges came in at 21.4% market share during February 2016, unchanged MoM from January 2016, though still constituting one of its highest figures ever. Moreover, the exchange also released its trading figures in February 2016, with its average daily matched volume coming in at just 1.88 billion shares – this constituted a loss of -5.5% MoM from ...
