Hijacking this thread  If this is inappropriate let me know and I go somewhere else.

Watching Sam's vids is fascinating, really loving trading at the moment as it things are tying in compared to running around like a headless chicken 4 months ago.

I'm trying to identify supply and demand zones on bigger TF. looking to see where the extremes are and marking them up, then picking a direction to trade to and from (sounds suspiciously like tro green and red rat) from the daily. Then going down to intraday, then using momo to enter and get my % and finito for the day.

I'm marking up the daily of where I think sup and dem but also paying attention the weekly supply and demand.

Can someone let me know if I'm marking these areas correctly? Somehow I think I'm doing it wrong, but I need to start somewhere!

Yeah they look ok to me. This is not an exact science, more of an art.

You might be able to make those areas smaller by adjusting the higher TF areas through looking on a smaller TF and trying to find out if you can find a zone inside that larger TF zone where the majority of bodies reside.

Hey Pablo, I've been watching these vids too and the only comment I'd make about the charts is the same as PTG, that he marks out where the 'majority of bodies' are in a base/cluster area. I don't think for this he worries about wicks too much if they don't fall within the range he defines. Like PTG, I also thinks its a little art, a little science.

I haven't been trading Rats but after looking at this SS stuff I have to say that I think there is genius in TROs trading rules. By defining your entry as within 20 pips of the daily high or low (depending on your 'rat colour') he defines in the trading rules a major pivot for the day without you having to understand how or why the reversal/pivot is formed. Absolute f#$*ing genius. :!:

Thanks, I really need more practice. Just look for breakouts from congestion areas and tests back into those areas

While studying these videos, I kept trying to draw the pictures in Sam's slides.

So I extracted slides from the FLV files using VLC Media player snapshot feature. Sometimes the slides are just the same charts as he goes back and forth to them -- I didn't bother trying to weed them out.
