Poll: Skype as a replacement for Paltalk 2% Club

I have nothing but continuous problems using Paltalk, and I believe that I am not alone.

To be fair and diplomatic, I'd like to get a general consensus if others, including TRO, would consider changing software to host discussions of the 2% club.

I've used Skype for other discussion groups, and it works great. Plus I can follow discussion on my phone as well. (plus I think it may help keep some of the idiotic 'noise bandits' out of our way).

In your reply, just state if you would care to see a change, or would prefer to keep things as is.

Thanks

where is the poll?
I'm against, because I don't have problems with Paltalk.

Don't try to repair something, that is working somehow -
as an old proverb is saying.

Coming from a user of IRC, Paltalk is way inferior in every way. If Skype is any better I vote for it.

irc.ircforex.com seems pretty good - no voice, but seems to run smooth - i know paltalk kills some computers

I've had issues with Paltalk all the time. They kill the connection at will and stuff you screen with commercials.

What does one expect of a freebee on the other hand ?

No idea if Skype is any better; I have had conference calls with Skype without problems.

No idea either when and if I'm going to use 2% again, I believe I should be able to trade without. But then again I might check in every now and then so I'd be happy to be able to get rid of that Paltalk crepe (pardon my French).

Just my 2% cent.

I've gone back and installed the stand alone version (PalTalk Scene) which seems to be running fine for now.

I don't care for the banner spam (the Express browser version has it too I guess), so it'll just have to do.

I still think there is a better solution, but it's not really my decision, and probably not worth the trouble at this point.

Thanks for the opinions.
