See: http://www.4xlounge.com/charts2/baro.html

Has TRO written an indicator anything like this that shows the relative strength of all currencies in current time frame, and recently?

thanks,

George

Thanks bredin for the link. :-)

Would that be the same indicator found at the bottom of TRO's image, http://kreslik.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=19937#19937 ? I've been looking for it for the last few days.

It looks to me like TROS is based on these indicators, with some niceties thrown in, in typical TRO style :)

You would have to ask TRO if that particular indi was ever released free/donational.

bredin, thx v much for pointing those out to me. They seem quite similar to those of 4xlounge but there are interesting differences which I'll monitor next week.

Looking back in time, the cc lines are not as good an indicator of future movement compared to those at 4xlounge but I'll see how they do walking forward....

If anyone has anything which is a closer approximation to the Barometers they have at 4xlounge but in MT4, I'd appreciate it

Those spaghetti indicators are memory hogs. The heat map stuff is more clear (but still largely useless in my opinion)

See: http://kreslik.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1796
This pic is especially useful in re the donational indicator
"TRO2009_%Change_SW"

Have to put it on several times for each pair you want to monitor. Its a hog too, but I think one of the cooler "heat maps"

and there is TRO's traditional original heatmap dashboard which I believe is the only DB that he has released that is not donational (so I will post it so you don't have to go hunting)

YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER. DO NOT POST MY CODE. You may not have the latest version!!

Thanks but I cant get it to appear in my custom indicator list. I'm not that keen on it anyway but thanks for the thought.
Take another look at the Cluster indicators however as there does seem to be mileage in them and the concept is sound.

any,

iir all those cluster indis are MA based, which means they repaint and are laggy
I have proved to myself that the iMA function of MT4 repaints, even with a simple moving average based on open price, which by formula should never change.... , and of course they are laggy and thus mostly useless....
