TRADESTATION REMOVED THE MOTHERLODES
FROM THE TREND INDICATOR THREAD!!

TradeStation removed all of the Motherlodes from the first post in the Trend Indicator thread!!

Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face.

The Trend Indicator thread is the most widely viewed thread of all time on the TradeStation forum. Why on earth would TS remove the ELDs?

Is TS trying to OUTSTUPID eSignal??

I am surprised that they left it up so long . They have no interest in what is best for their customers . I am just glad that I was with TS at the right time to get so much benefit from your postings and code . I stayed with TS at least an extra year because of your work . Thanks Avery.

The entire thread will be removed next, it's just a matter of time. Someone is posting a bunch of russell buyzone win charts there, they can't like that at all.

TRO

TRADESTATION STRIKES AGAIN !!!

In the end be it people, or a company run by people, character, good or bad shows itself.

This is why I left Tradstation a week ago and closed my trading account with them.

As Jeffx said, the entire thread will be the next to vanish.

Wasn't with TS too long. Been trading 10 years and haven't found a company with more flaws. A lot of little things kept building a neg view, then saw what they were doing on the boards and that was the straw that broke me. So cashed in and moved on. Good luck TS'ers!

Is there a consensus on what better platform there is out there for trading if Tradestation doesn't cut it. I'm looking at moving to tradestation in the near future. The other platforms I've considered are esignal and metatrader based platform. thanks.

Hi johnnyl

Welcome to Kreslik.com.

Are you using a charting platform now? How long have you been trading?

Myself, I just left TS a week ago, and began a subscription to eSignal, a stop over for me, on my way to NeoTicker. Both TS and eS don't like TRO posting indicators and coding for free, while they, and their vendors charge hundreds and thousands for what TRO gives away as he believes in making his money from trading, not from coding.

Michal Kreslik researched trading platforms a year ago or so, and landed on NeoTicker. I spoke with Michal at length a month ago; NT is definitely for serious traders who are going to finish the race profitably whatever it takes.

As TRO and Michal have just recently moved over to NT, there are not a lot of indicators available at this time, this is a short term problem. There are several posts about NT on kreslik.com, look them up under search. Here is one to start with: http://kreslik.com/forums/viewtopic.php ... sc&start=0

I will be interested to read TRO and Michal's response to your question.

Hey Patch. I have been trading 4 years with Oanda although I have been consistently profitable for much less time than that. I currently use Metatrader for charts and decisions and then place my trades with Oanda. I like the idea of Tradestation because of more complex order types I can place, the client side API and also what looks to be a fairly easy diversification into equities, futures and options under one platform if I so desire.

I haven't moved anywhere. There's a chance I will use NT sometime this year but it hasn't happened yet.

I like the TS platform and if I could, I would still be using it for equity scalping.

For FOREX, I use www.efxgroup.com.
