TRADESTATION FORUM POLICE ARE STILL ON THE JOB!

A user posted one of my indicators and look at what happened:

Attachment:[This attachment is not acceptable unless contact information is removed. -Admin] 22140 bytes

I told this user to expect to hear from TradeStation and I was right!

TradeStation has a place on the forum where people can SELL their code for money. They are allowed to put their contact info there.

But the TradeStation FORUM POLICE don't want anyone to post FREE code with contact information.

To me, that's just plain dumb!!

If you are a TradeStation user, voice your complaints to TradeStation.

TRO

Tradestation's hypocrisy continues to grow and grow and grow, and to out do themselves again and again. I look forward to leaving them soon. They are not Pip Pirates, they are thieves, pure and simple.

Patch, I recommend copying one of your double posts and sending it as an email to Tradestation. Allow me to suggest sending the one that has a question mark where there should be an apostrophe in the body -- that way they will think you were really really mad when typing it out. I then recommend that you delete both of your posts.

Would a work around be post the code at the place where they allow contract information, and charge $1, or $10. Some nominal amount to cover cost, and keep TS happy. I am not familiar with TS, I am somewhat familar with Trade Navagator where you buy plugins and data feeds. They certainly seem to have a popular product with a loyal following.

Why delete both posts, isn't deleting one enough?

Keeping TS happy is NOT the issue.

TS doesn't want people to know about my code even though it brings them revenue. Some people come to TS just to use my code. Others stay there because of it. Just like in THE MATRIX, TS wants to CONTROL everything.

Since TS couldn't control me, they banned me, that simple.

Due to my various years of trading and contacts in the industry, and also living in south florida when the TS Borg got their start, I know of them quite well. And what TRO says is quite true. They have their own little dictatorship, and nobody can change that.

Their customer support is a tragedy and they hear the complaints, but have soo many people addicted to the platform that I believe that they just don't care. When they first started out you could talk for a looong time with them about problems and improvements but now forget it. I am grateful there are other options like Tickquest.
