Imitation is ...

Someone alerted me that one of the indicators above bears a striking resemblace to my Poor Man's Slot Machine ( PMSM ).

What do YOU think?

If you think it does, then please post a message on this TradeStation thread:

https://www.tradestation.com/Discussion ... 82&PAGE=16

Funny thing is, when these guys first started out, I was part of their group but after I got banned from TradeStation, they decided to disassociate themselves from me. But they still used the work I did on their site. GO FIGURE!

*** UPDATE ***

I emailed OUFAN ( Glen ) and he says he never saw my indicator. I believe him. It's some of the people he's in business with that I don't trust.

Everything I can do, others can do. I am NOT the only programmer on the planet. I am NOT the first programmer to plot dots. But I did arrange them into the POOR MAN'S SLOT MACHINE. I also published my work for all to use for FREE right here on www.kreslik.com.

I just hate to think that someone is paying for something they can get for free. Make sure that people reading the TradeStation forum threads know they can get my PMSM indicators for free.

Thanking You in Advance.

Imitators imitate and innovaters innovate. Sadly, they will just deny that they copied your ideas - in fact they already are. How weak is that?

Will do. That's low down to take advantage of people like that. :x

Avery - I think you are not just an incredible programmer, but a truly great contributor.

However, the strong impression I have of OUFan is that he is not the copying type. There are quite a few indicators with dots all over the bottom of the chart - Ensign users have been doing this for years...

I understand if someone showed you Glen's work in the context of "Look, you're being copied by a commercial vendor", it would be natural to feel unhappy, but I truly doubt this is the case here.

Edward
I am starting to understand.
Patience please.
Right is right and wrong is wrong.
If I want to dump TS, where do you suggest I go? I am a relative newbie to TS and FX trading.

"I emailed OUFAN ( Glen ) and he says he NEVER saw my indicator."

Unless I am "BLIND", I visit Tradestation forums but never see any post from TRO, even one post with more than 250,000 hits.

I CLOSE MY EYES THEN COPY......GREAT MINDS ARE ... ALIKE !!!!

Avery - I wanted to thank you for all the indicators you have posted over at TS and all the ideas you have given so selflessly. In a frustrating and sometimes lonely game, you truly provide encouragement and fresh energy which is a rare commodity amongst all the snakeoil salesmen and failed traders that litter this industry.

Having finally lost my temper with TS which is frankly hogtied as a development platform I have come over here to see what you guys and Neoticker can do for me. I have strong C# and 20 years professional experience of real time financial data so lets see where we can go from here.

Look forward to being here

Peter
