Long time no see Kreslik family. Think its time i put up a scalping thread. This is first and foremost a journal for myself. The majority of it will consist of the ES on cfd's. 3 min chart with higher timeframe in the back of the mind. Basic price action will be used. Will see how it plays out.

Could be entertaining.
Lets see what ya got :!:
Scalping is more like a video game where-as swinging is more about strategy.

Awesome. Good to see you step up to the plate. We band of hard core gluttons-for-punishment need to keep Kreslik living and breathing the way it deserves.

Haha. It'll definitely be entertaining. I decided to do the journal cuz I feel like I can actually offer something to allot of the members here.

At the core of it, it will be basic technical analysis sprinkled with a little higher time frame and candlestick patterns. I will try to put everything in a very easy to follow concept. Simole stuff. Like what would you do with a trendline break with a retest that formed a pinball at the retest. I think most would say they would take the entry. Also if your in a trade that offers you a measured move that lines up with a S/D zone you would hold the trade cuz of the confluence. I have also been studying S/D zones alot and I think I actually have a real good understanding. They have become the central idea of my trading. So hopefully alot of good stuff.

Alright guys. The first long was simply a pin bar based off of the 2hr. Once it got close to the top i started to trail it and ended up getting stopped. But wanted to see if it would break.

1st short is a head and shoulder play. Aimed for the measure move. 2nd short was a ross hook and i took it cuz price loves to break the last low just to run stops. I dont take every ross hook so im offering an explanation. 3rd short was same idea and im not gonna lie. It was diffuclt for me to take. It barely offered more then 1 to 1 RR. But since this thread is going to be more trend following based i have to stop calling tops and bottoms.

I think all the trades sohould make sense and are apart of what i said this thread will be about. All the trades added up and you were looking at 7 to 1 RR.

What instances will i still call tops/bottoms? Need to clarify this so im just not posting trades that are not part of the plan. Divergence? Price back at an etreme? Price at an extreme inside of a candlestick pattern? Supply and demand? Probably will be a combination of 3 or min 2. Will have to look into this more.

Strong markets have a tendency to only pullback to the .382 fibo. 1 this gives us a good easy place to first aim for. 2nd if price could not move past it, then if market is considered strong then the likely hood of it breaking levels and running should be high? Correct? Lets keep that in the back of are mind.
