Sheiner tutor needed

Sorry for the repetition, but I need help with the Sheiner/OHLC method, if anyone knows it.
I've paper-traded it on stock CFDs and on the ER2 (a la Sheiner himself), and have done no better than break even (total 52 trades).
I've made a good career from short-term trading my own system of buying on breakouts caused by news events (non-TA.) But scalping is new to me, so presumably I'm doing something wrong here.
I've done a fair bit of work on Sheiner; and several experienced traders here and on TS have said it works for them - so I don't want to give up.
Possibly my knowledge gaps relate to scalping in general rather than to Sheiner.
Can anyone tutor me a bit?
Thanks,
John
