FILES DELETED FROM THERUMPLEDONE'S ESIGNAL FILE SHARE FOLDER

It looks like eSignal really does NOT want users to know about my free code!

Dear RumpledOne,

I followed your very popular thread on the TradeStation forum and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all the code that you shared with everyone. I take my hat off in respect to your programming skills and your ability to share with others.

I have read many opinions as to why you were banned from the TradeStation forum but I would really love to have an insight of your perspective on this unfortunate situation. Unfortunate because the forum thread has pretty much died and I believe it will take quite a while before someone with your talents, energy and a spirit of generosity comes around.

TradeStation banned me because I didn't back down. I didn't conform. I didn't play by their rules. I was a threat to the status quo.

If I thought a rule was stupid, I said so PUBLICALLY. TradeStation didn't like that. I called them the FORUM POLICE. They didn't like that.

And the biggest problem was the fact that I have "DONATIONS AND GIFTS ACCEPTED" in my code. It is OK for people to sell code with a price tag on the outside. But for some reason ,that is beyond me, having "DONATIONS AND GIFTS ACCEPTED" in the code is "the crime of the century" to TradeStation.

Does TradeStation care about their customers? Of course they do! So much so they don't want their customers to have FREE code that may contain the words "DONATIONS AND GIFTS ACCEPTED". Not only does TradeStation not permit it on their forum, they don't allow reference to a forum that has such code. TradeStation's FORUM POLICE will edit or delete the post.

You would think that a trading publication like TASC or SFO would have picked up on this story. But think again. TradeStation advertises in those magazines. Would TradeStation pull their ads? I guess that's a chance TASC and SFO don't have the guts to take.

Ditto for eSignal.

In the 10 days I've been reading many posts on TS and kreslik forums, it is clear as day that TRO is a one of a kind, very special man, in trading and helping all of us, and even more importantly, in life and in the things that really matter. He is a man I would love to meet with one day on a beach and sit and talk with about the things that really matter.

I'd like to second or third that. It took me 4 nights to read through TRO's TS thread. It's amazing all the indicators and advice. I never made it to the ES forum but I bet it was a good one since TRO was involved.

Thank you RumpledOne! I know I am better off today than I was before I studied your work. I don't understand it all yet but that will come in time.

And, thanks to Michal for providing a home base.

Hey Flash... I used to live in Wheaton, MD. Not too far from Fairfax, VA.

I'll be heading to the beach this Sunday. Come join us!

EFX alone are well worth the price of admission.

So why did you leave Wheaton, as it is a nice place to live?
The day after tomorrow is Sunday. I won't be sitting with you on the beach this weekend though I would like to sit and talk about trading and life and get to know you. I funded my TS account today so will be running TS charts soon and also opened an account with EFXgroup; their trading costs are amazing. EFX alone are well worth the price of admission. I am using Hypersnap as my screen capture and will use it and post lots of screen captures.
Thanks for everything

Left in 1995. I knew it would be GROUND ZERO sooner or later.

Didn't want to be living near a strategic target.

They laughed then... who's laughing now?
