this efs is in the esignal downloads file on the board, not the motherlode files. it is quite intriguing but i cannot get it to update automatically. it plots very good signals historically and one can reload each bar and it will update to the previous completed bar, but will not update automatically.

i am pretty ignorant of esignal programming. i have looked in the help files on esignal and played around with various changes but can find no way to have it update automatically like all other indicators.

i am using YM #F and a 3min 24hour esignal advanced chart.

does anyone know who wrote this or where it came from? i cannot find it on the esignal boards. does anyone know what to add to it to get it to update automatically.

the efs is attached

Guess what?!?!

This code doesn't work properly.

No matter what symbols you enter the value is the same!!

I'll have to see if I can fix it.

Thanks for looking at it. The historical signals are excellent, the question is the updating in realtime.

The TRO RelRel3 has the same problem as the original in that it is not updating automatically as each time bar progresses to the next bar. It has to be manually reloaded which is not very practical for trading.

I have tried to add a number of things re getValue etc. but i cant get anything to work in that regard.

Wayne... the indicator needs to be rewritten... IT DOESN'T WORK!!

It is WRONG!!

Whoever wrote it didn't understand a few things about coding functions.

I didn't discover it until I loaded in my enhancements, entered a different ticker and the chart didn't change.

When I looked at the code I saw the error!!

Don't know when I'll be able to fix it... really busy!!
