I have a question about using the Drain the Banks indicator for long trades. Actually, it's more about trade execution. And again, this only happens on LONG TRADES. When I would try to enter at the trigger level, I noticed that my trade would always execute before the price actually hit the trigger. Of course this is because the ask would hit the trigger before the bid. Is there anything I can do to ensure that when going long, my trades are executed when the bid hits the trigger as opposed to the ask? Thank you to anyone who can answer this. I mean, you can manually try and figure out the difference between the bid and the ask and place the entry a few pips above the trigger but the market moves so fast that by the time you figure all that out, a lot of times you'll miss the opportunity.

this is one of the annoying pains of mt4, the limited order execution types.

if the market is happening to fast to set a limit order you may have to suck it up and see if market orders give better results.

or just use round numbers to estimate the spreads, GJ ~ 4, EU ~ 2, etc, since they change from tick to tick in any case.

or use other broker software to place your orders eg MBNav.
