Well it's the 4th but that dosnt change they way I always feel.

I 'm grateful all can post their thoughts and views and not be punished...

so if it has not already been said....

Thanks to all That have made all of our rights possible and a special THANKS TO MY FAMILY MEMEBERS AND FRIENDS THAT HAVE SERVED AND FOUGHT FOR US!!!!

My son is moving to Houston, Hot & Humid, Texas. I understand Texas wrote into their joining the US union, that they maintained the right to withdraw, be it session. A couple of days ago I read a speech by John Q Adams on the 4th in 1837 or there abouts. He spoke about the importance of maintaining the peace and union of the original thirteen. I wonder why the Futures folks chose to forbid hedging in forex trading in the free USA?

My wife gave me Mark Lavin's recent book, Liberty & Tyranny. I think preventing hedging is an infringement of my rights as a FX trader. I may be moving to Texas in the near future. I have grave concerns for our country. The constitution is being shredded. So I am either moving to Texas with Davey Crocket or I am going to run against my congressmen or senator--I hear you serve on term and you get a lifetime, fat retirement.

It may indeed take a while, and may get a lot mess-e-er in the future. I hope I am wrong on this. Over the last three months I've decided the only safe haven in in the markets, forex, futures, and commodities.

The future folks forbidding hedging is another symptom of people actually telling others what to do, "in their own interest". As if people are not capable to judge for themselves. In actual fact, this may be the case many times thanks to government being the replacement parent, treating everybody else as a child. Consequentially, government is putting itself above people where they should serve people in the first place. So much for "change"..

There are several more states that think about secession, but that's where it will stay if you ask me. It would be good if the centralization process that has been going on since Lincoln started it is reverted; let local business be dealt with locally; government should be as small as possible. Unfortunately that's not the way it works, the US is the living proof of it.

I've been in Texas many times. There is one Congressman in Texas who has stood up against these attacks against the Constitution: Ron Paul. You (and others) might want to consider looking into what they have to say about the underlying issues at hand, the financial system being the central issue. Did you know the FED is as federal as Federal Express ? We're talking about a conglomerate of private banks that has protected its market with the help of the federal government since Xmas 1913.

Anyway, the US and the EU are following the fascist route, where government decides what you can and cannot do with your possessions. It will get much worse. And I hope that people in the US and elsewhere will finally wake up and actually DO something about it. That is also why I'm posting this; Internet will be the medium that will bring gunvernment on its knees. They can't control the flow of information any more through the MSM. And that is good news, perhaps the only good news right now.

I wish us all a lot of luck in our endeavors to work towards a situation of more individual freedom. Draining the BANKS will actually help, not because it hurts them but because you can buy more freedom for yourself. Think other countries. Make sure you have valid travel documents by the way. Things like those may become difficult also.

Very thoughtful and thought provoking post. I'm in the middle of several home projects right now, and thinking about what you've written. The thing that floors me about what is happening, it the speed at which the President is getting all and everything passed through in such a rush, that nobody in the house and senate even cares enough to read the print of what the bills say; the most recent example is the cap & trade bill that Nancy P got passed in the house a week ago Friday. The single largest tax increase bill in the history of the US and likely the world. And neither dems or repubs are standing up for the/our US constitution as it is being ignored.

I've been doing some reading on the Fed since TRO posted a link to a video called "The Money Masters". It's crazy that first of all US dollars are not based on anything, and the fact that they are printing soo much of it makes it worth lest, just like dilluting gold. I also did some more reading about alternative currency to see if there has been any real attempts to create them and there has been, ones based on gold and silver, however it looks like they have all been taken down by the government and people have been put in jail for their attempts. One of them is called the Liberty Dollar. And I don't know how true this is but I read on a web site that the government plans to announce a new currency before the end of this year.

That's right, everybody is being duped by the banksters. Madoff operated a Ponzi scheme, the elephant in the room is the financial system which is debt-based; it's an even bigger Ponzi-scheme. The people responsible for that should be in jail forever.

We're at a point where debt cannot be repaid, ever. Creation of money out of thin air undermines the value of all assets. It's called inflation, and it's nothing less but taxation. The Powers that Be have been playing with fire, misusing and manipulating the market forces, trying to tame it. This will blow back, big time. It does every time, it's called the boom-bust cycle, and it amplifies every time. This one is much worse than the one in 2001, the next one will be even worse. All caused by the cheap money that's pushed in the economy, currently to save the big banks, and big corporations. All of them should have died, which is painful but less painful than the consequences of letting them live.

Have a look at what Peter Schiff has to say, and Max Kaiser, and Gerald Celente. You can find them on Youtube. Also, the late Aaron Russo's documentary "America: From Freedom to Fascism" is a good one to watch.

Don't believe the main stream media (MSM) because they have an agenda. Find your own information, it's all around on the Internet. Then, once you understand, once you actually SEE what's going on, educate others to go and educate themselves. The moral wrongdoings have to be stopped, it will literally kill us at some point in time, and the people at the top not only know it but they will just laugh.

If you have some more time, go and read Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand.
