2009.06.28 TRO_VOLUME_FORCE

Image

TRO_VOLUME_FORCE display the "force" of the volume and price.

The formula I made up is:

VOLUME FORCE = ABS(CLOSE - OPEN) * VOLUME

CLOSE - OPEN is the change in price. I multiply the change in price by the volume to get the "force".

If you look where price bottomed, you'll see there wasn't much downward force. As price climbed, the downward force that appeared was also weak.

FREE MT4 version of TRO_VOLUME_FORCE, including SOURCE CODE, attached.

Hey MP6140, another all original TRO indicator for FREE.

The TRO Haters will say "there goes TRO again making more indicators when he says you don't need indicators." I am not sure what the reason is they are so preoccupied with my affairs. Mankind will never cease to amaze me.

TRO_VOLUME_FORCE plus Volume Moving Average.

I hope you like it.

P.S.:
I'm writing the PLOT version.

"IF volumeforce>MA THEN plot arrow on main graph."

I think this indicator is amazing and you can SEE things through that.

flinux:

Thanks for sharing.

But please do me a favor.. if you modify one of my indicators, please take the TRO out of the name and replace it with your name. I don't want the credit nor the blame for your modifications.

Thanks.

It is not a buy/sell trigger. So, NO, you don't buy on blue and sell on pink.

I just wrote it today so I haven't had a chance to watch in while the market is open and active.

Based on history, it appears to tell you when price may reverse or continue it's direction based on the size of the bar.

But remember, THIS IS TRADING AND ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN.

Look for force to weaken. That signals a possible reversal.

That's all.
