Hey Edward,
I've enjoyed your posts.....

After hearing your comment about trading on the beach, I immediately pictured us sitting at "The Office" on the Cabo Harbour with
laptops and sattelite connections.........lol!

I remember Cabo's internet being fairly slow but this may have been updated. Placing trades on a MT4 platform and having a dropped connection in the middle could be freaky, especially with fast, high leverage DTB trades running.

Sounds like you've done this trip with TRO before.

Will you be trading while down there?...and if so
What kind of setups do you use to trade while in Cabo?

Avery and Edward:
Tell me what to expect...I'm already a Pirate and I'm thinking of coming down and meeting you guys and learning a few new things about trading  !

Cheers,
Al

Al,

Yep there are some good places on the beach with reliable broadband. Not to mention many of the hotels have broadband in the lobby (a few even have them in the rooms).

As Avery says, "when you are in Mexico anything can happen." Of course this is true with trading at any time in any place.

I haven't been down to Cabo with Avery, but I've been down to Rocky Point and we did the same thing.

I'll be trading while down there with the same setups I always use - my own. I am my own system. I will be looking at the DTB and using the TRO Dynamic S/R to support the system of ME (remember indicators are the tool, but you are the hand that wields it). This is no different from any other day - except for the sand :)

What can you expect in Cabo? Amazing blue ocean, white sandy beaches, people hanging on the beach, and us hanging out and doing some trading. Risks include timeshare salesmen, sunburn, hangovers, and the normal trading hazards hehe. Seems like a fair trade.

My advice is to take it easy and expect to have fun. If you come with those expectations they will likely be fulfilled.

I heard Mexico is very dangerous now no matter where you go?

626 -

We were in Cabo in February, and felt safe at all times. Most of the problems you read about are in border cities (Tijuana, Nogales, etc.) or port cities (Mazatlan, etc.) As with any city in the US, if you go to the wrong places at the wrong times you can find trouble. If you use common sense about where and when you are out and about you will have no problem.
