2009.02.28 TRO MULTI METER TREND STRENGTH / ALERT



Found a trend alert indicator HERE .

So I modified it a bit and created a MultiMeter for it.

Gray means to wait. Purple means OK to trade. Note: the original use the M30 period for the signal.

I had a Trend Strength MultiMeter that I had coded earlier.


FREE MT4 version of TRO MULTI METER TREND STRENGTH and TRO MULTI METER TREND ALERT, including SOURCE CODE, attached.


2009.03.08 NOTE: I DIDN'T LOAD THE TREND STRENGTH INDICATOR IN THE ZIP FILE BECAUSE I POSTED THE LINK TO THE INDICATOR. BUT THAT SEEMED TO CAUSE SOME NEW PEOPLE PROBLEMS. SO I PUT IT IN THE ZIP FILE.

Reviewing the treasure TROve of indicators and found this of interest. Loaded all four indicators from the file onto several charts and the MM TrendStrength doesn't change from all gray (no blue or red lights). Am I perhaps missing another indicator that should be loaded onto my chart or directory to activate this meter? Thanks for the assist.

I don't think you downloaded the Trend Strength indicator from the link I posted.

Make sure you load everything in the zip file into the indicator folder.


1) Make sure MetaTrader is closed.

2) Download and unzip the indicators to

C:\Program Files\your metatrader folder name\experts\indicators

3) Run MetaTrader

4) Click on VIEW

5) Click on Navigator

6) Drag an drop the indicator you want onto the chart
